Circumstances of disappearance
Anthony, a resident of Zwolle, Netherlands, was last seen in Samet Island on January 5th, 2002, where he was vacationing together with his wife. Witnesses described him as being in a confused state at the time of his disappearance. Searches by the Thai police and scent dogs turned up no leads as to Anthony's whereabouts.
Authorities are also seeking information on three young men from Rotterdam who stayed in the Palm Beach Inn hotel in Pattaya, Thailand. They are thought of having seen Anthony in Boystown at Pattaya. The boys were about 30 years old, one of them had short dark hair and another one had long, blonde hair.
Anthony was the owner of the De Eetkamer van Zwolle restaurant back in the Netherlands. A reward is being offered in his case.
